Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up of the following posts through contract basis in the State level Virus Research and Diagnostic Laboratory (VRDL) (DHR-ICMR network labs), under Department of Microbiology, at Guntur Medical College, Guntur-522004, Andhra Pradesh.

Job description of MTS |
1.Maintain hygiene and cleanliness in the laboratory. 2.Make arrange for availability of needed consumables or stationeries in the laboratory as per stock available and entering the same in computer data sheet. 3.Preparation of laboratory waste segregation of biomedical waste and disposing it entering in computer data the same as per the guidelines. 4.Maintain the attribute of laboratory by frequent disinfection of instrument and regular fumigation. 5. Carryout Autoclaving of tested specimens as per the protocol. 6.Perform any job related duties assigned by the principal investigator and follow the instructions of Scientists , Research Assistant and Laboratory technicians. |
Instructions to the applicants :
1. These posts are strictly restricted only to State Level VRDL, Guntur Medical College, Guntur.
2. These posts are purely on Contractual basis for a period of 12 months , may be extended based on the tenure of the project and the work performance of the candidate recruited.
3. Pension/GPF/PF/Leave benefits(earned leaves) will not be applicable as permanent government posts.
4. No TA, DA, will be provided for appearing interview.
5. Selected candidates should be ready to work 24×7 in three shifts and make their own arrangements of accommodation for their stay at Guntur.
6. Staff may have to go on field visits and travel outstation for any need under the project.
7. If the fact that any false information has been furnished or that there has been suppression of any material or information in the application form comes to notice at any time during the service of a person , his / her services would be liable to be terminated.
8. Candidates must apply for one post only.
9. Principal, Guntur Medical College reserves all the rights to change or cancel the interview and selection process without assigning any reason.
10.These recruitments shall not be a base for regularisation of services or for any other similar purpose and shall not be challengeable in any court of law.
11.Candidate can leave the job prematurely giving one month’s notice or one month’s salary in lieu of the same. The same are not applicable in case of the performance of the candidate is found unsatisfactory , his / her services will be terminated without giving any notice.
12. Age limit of the candidates : Maximum age limit 40 years on the day of notification released.
13.After scrutinizing the applications received from the candidates , eligible candidates will be called for interview. The date of interview will be notified to the individual by E Mail/Whats app mobile number ( candidate should provide correct e mail ID and Whats app Mobile number).
14.Canvassing in anyway will lead to disqualification for the candidature.
