GMC believes that along with high quality education, sports and cultural meets help inculcate lifelong qualities of hard work, self-control, respect for others, Self-confidence, Self-reliance, leadership, entrepreneurship, and the like. These qualities help students in their professional careers, social service activities and their personal spiritual quest.

The Annual sports meet of GMC was held at Mens hostel ground on 14 March 2015.  The galleries had filled up almost to their capacities. Students, teachers and staff of the GMC, parents were seated to welcome the chief guest,  Dr. Renuka Surath into the ground.
