Applications are invited from eligible candidates for filling up of the following posts through contract basis in the newly established State level Viral Research and Diagnostic Laboratory (VRDL) by DHR-ICMR, under Department of Microbiology, at Guntur Medical College, Guntur-522004, Andhra Pradesh. The filled-in application form with all the necessary documents should be submitted either by speed post or register post“ To The Principal, Guntur Medical College, Kannavari thota, Guntur-522004, Andhra Pradesh” with a Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- (Non refundable) in favour of “Chairman, CDS, Guntur Medical College ” payable at Guntur A.P., drawn from any Nationalised scheduled bank.Super scribe in Bold letters on the top of the cover as “Application for the VRDL contractual post”.Last date for submission of applications : 09-09-2019 3 PM. It is the sole responsibility of the candidate to track the application and the under signed is not responsible for any postal delay.

Instructions to the applicants :

1. These posts are strictly restricted only to VRDL, Guntur Medical College, Guntur.

2. These posts are purely on Contractual basis for a period of 11 months, may be extended based on the tenure of the project and the work performance of the staff recruited.

3. Posts will not be considered as permanent at any point of time.

4. Pension/GPF/PF/Leave benefits will not be applicable as permanent government posts.

5. Appointments can be terminated at any time even before end of contract period without prior notice due to any reason. In case of such premature termination, one month’s notice or one month salary in lieu of the same will be provided. Candidate can leave the job prematurely giving one month’s notice or one month’s salary in lieu of the same. The same are not applicable in case of premature termination on performance related issue.

6. Strict confidentiality to be maintained with regard to data, information and activities of the VRDL project. Any violation attracts disciplinary / legal action.

7. After scrutinizing the applications received from the candidates, eligible candidates will be called for interview. The date of interview will be notified to the individual by E Mail.

8. No TA, DA, accommodation will be provided neither for appearing written exam or interview nor for joining the assignment.

9. After scrutinizing the applications, in case the eligible candidates are more than 5 in each post, written exam will be conducted followed by interview, subject to the decision of the Recruitment committee. The date of exam/ interview will be intimated to the individual by E Mail address given by the candidate in the application form.

Terms and Conditions

1. Distance educational qualifications will not be considered.

2. If the fact that any false information has been furnished or that there has been suppression of any material or information in the application form comes to notice at any time during the service of a person , his / her services would be liable to be terminated.

3.Application and Declaration , not signed by the candidate is liable to be rejected.

4.Candidates applying for more than one post , separate application form should be submitted for each post along with separate DD drawn ,as specified in this form (Non refundable) .

5.Applications from employees working in central government / State government departments / Public sector under takings and government funded research agencies must be forwarded through proper channel along with the certificate from the employer stating that the applicant will be relieved in one month of his/her receipt of appointment orders. Application from such candidates will be considered subject to the conditions that “No Objection Certificate” from the employer will be produced at the time of interview.

6. Principal, Guntur Medical College reserves all the rights to change or cancel the interview and selection process without assigning any reason.

7. These recruitments shall not be a base for regularisation of services or for any other similar purpose and shall not be challengeable in any court of law.

8. Contract can be terminated any time if the performance of the candidate is found unsatisfactory , his / her services can be terminated in that stage without giving notice.

9. Age limit of the candidates : less than 30 years

11. Required educational qualifications for each post :

Essential	MSc (Medical or General Microbiology /Virology /Biotechnology /Molecular biology) from recognised university
Desirable	1.Preference will be given to those having experience in ICMR /DHR /CSIR /DBT projects/any other equivalent project / medical college 2. Knowledge of Computer Applications or Data Management.
Note	Preference will be given to those with medical qualification

Academic Qualifications required
Essential	B. Sc. MLT from recognised university (Registered) Or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from recognised university (Registered)
Desirable	1. Preference will be given to those having experience in govt. Institutions in ICMR /DHR /CSIR /DBT projects/any other equivalent project 2. Knowledge of Computer Applications or Data Management.
Note	Preference will be given to candidates having BSc MLT over the DMLT

12. Documents to be enclosed :

1. SSC or 10^th class marks card / certificate (for proof of date of birth)

2. Registration certificates – MSc, BScMLT, DMLT as applicable

3. Degree certificates – MSc, BScMLT, DMLT as applicable
